Wrongful Death Suit Filed In Deadly Crash

The families of four victims tragically killed in a car wreck last week are suing for unlimited compensation.

The wrongful death suit, filed on August 6th in Fresno County Superior Court targets the driver, Ernesto Escalente and his employer Panella Trucking Inc.

Escalante was allegedly driving his tomato truck when he ran a stop sign, shearing the top of another vehicle which had been carrying the five victims, four of whom were killed instantly, according to California Highway Patrol.

Memorial services were held this evening in Mendota for Angel Nunez, 39; Nelson Nunez, 27; Jose Menjivar, 25; Antonio Menjivar, 21.
